Childress Vineyards is the passion project of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress — a lifelong dream rooted in the days when he raced in California and fell in love with the culture, the landscape, and the warmth of the wine country estate experience. What he built in Lexington delivers exactly that feeling, without the cross-country flight.

Childress Vineyards Quick Facts

Wedding packages at Childress Vineyards span four tiers: Micro (up to 50 guests, Mon–Thu, semi-private starting at $1,195); Classic ($7,000, semi-private, two venue sites); Signature ($10,000–$15,000, full private evening); and Luxe ($17,000–$25,000, full private with mimosa bar, private-label 3-liter wine, one-year Fast Track Wine Club membership, and cake plating). All packages include use of the Bridal Suite and tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and cutlery. A minimum wine order applies. Professional wait and bar staff are included. Photography on the estate requires advance authorization through the Banquet department.

Childress Vineyards offers five distinct event environments — each with its own photographic character and its own relationship with the estate's Tuscan aesthetic and vineyard landscape.   The estate's signature reception space — a grand indoor ballroom defined by iron chandeliers, heavy timber beams, and textured stone walls that create a richly layered interior environment. Large windows and the warm amber tones of the wood and stone architecture produce a reception photography environment that feels simultaneously rustic and luxurious. The Grand Foyer's fountain makes an outstanding first look backdrop directly beneath the soaring beamed ceiling.

Location, Access & Guest Logistics

Location: 1000 Childress Vineyards Road, Lexington, NC 27295 — between Greensboro (approximately 30 miles) and Charlotte (approximately 45 miles) via US-64 and I-85.

Photography policy: All professional photography must be coordinated through Childress Vineyards' Banquet department in advance. We manage this authorization as part of your pre-wedding planning coordination.

Bar & catering: Childress Vineyards provides award-winning in-house wines and professional wait and bar staff for all packages. A minimum wine order applies. Outside alcohol is not permitted.

Drone photography & videography: The vineyard's 70+ acres, the estate roofline, the lake, and the surrounding Davidson County countryside are outstanding from above. Aerial footage of the vine rows stretching across the estate creates establishing sequences for wedding films with an immediately cinematic vineyard character. All photo + video packages include drone videography.
