Brittany + Jae

Brittany and Jae’s Valentine’s Day Wedding at Mayberry Meadows in Mt. Airy, NC

Some weddings feel romantic.
Some weddings feel joyful.
And every once in a while you photograph a wedding that feels like both from the very first moment.

Brittany and Jae’s Valentine’s Day celebration at Mayberry Meadows Weddings & Events was exactly that kind of day.

Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Mount Airy, the venue blends wide countryside views with an elegant pavilion reception space, giving couples the best of outdoor scenery and comfortable indoor celebration spaces.

For Brittany and Jae, it was the perfect place to gather their favorite people and celebrate the start of their next adventure together.

And honestly, a Valentine’s Day wedding just hits different.

While we photograph weddings all across North Carolina as a Greensboro based studio, we love when couples choose venues in the foothills and mountains.

A
Cool but Beautiful February Wedding Day

North Carolina winters can be unpredictable, but Brittany and Jae got a February day that felt just right.

The air was crisp, the skies were clear, and the cooler temperatures made everything feel calm and cozy. Instead of the humidity and heat that summer weddings often bring, the day had that relaxed winter energy where everyone could enjoy being present.

The ceremony took place outside beneath the trees at Mayberry Meadows, one of the venue’s most iconic spots. Guests gathered on benches as Brittany made her entrance, and the quiet countryside setting created one of those ceremony moments where everything feels peaceful and meaningful.

Couples planning weddings throughout the state often look at venues from the mountains to the coast. Many of the couples we work with travel from larger cities like Charlotte or Raleigh to host destination style celebrations in smaller towns like Mount Airy.

A Couple Who Loves Adventure

One of the things we loved most about Brittany and Jae is how much they love exploring the world together.

Travel plays a big role in their relationship. Their conversations are filled with stories about places they’ve visited and destinations still on their bucket list. That sense of adventure showed up throughout the wedding day.

The energy between them was effortless, with lots of laughter and the kind of connection that makes photographing a couple feel natural rather than posed.

Moments like these always translate beautifully in photos because they are real.

The
Karaoke Reception That Stole the Show

After dinner and a little bit of dancing, the reception turned into a full on karaoke party. Friends grabbed the mic, family members jumped in, and the dance floor turned into one giant sing along.

From our perspective behind the camera it was incredible to watch. Weddings are always fun, but when couples bring a piece of their personality into the celebration like this, the entire vibe changes.

It was definitely one of the most entertaining receptions we have photographed in a while.

Why
Mayberry Meadows Is Such a Great Wedding Venue

If you are planning a wedding in the Triad or western North Carolina area, Mayberry Meadows is a venue worth touring.

The property sits on farmland with beautiful open views and combines rustic countryside charm with modern wedding amenities. Couples can host both their ceremony and reception on site, with outdoor ceremony locations and a climate controlled pavilion for the celebration.

The pavilion accommodates large guest counts comfortably while still feeling intimate once the celebration begins.

For photographers, the venue offers a ton of variety for portraits, from wide scenic fields to intimate wooded areas.

For couples, it offers something even more important: space to celebrate with the people who matter most.

A
Valentine’s Day Celebration to Remember

Brittany and Jae’s wedding was the perfect reminder that the best weddings are the ones that feel personal.

Not overly complicated.
Not overly scripted.

Brittany and Jae, thank you for letting us document such a fun and meaningful day.

Your wedding was unforgettable.
