The chapel itself was purpose-built by local artisans using 500-year-old English brick, a detail that sets the tone for everything else about this venue. Every element here was chosen with intention. Exposed oak ceiling trusses, breathtaking custom stained glass windows, two covered porches hung with rustic chandeliers, and a Darling Tiny Cottage for getting ready... this is not a converted barn or a repurposed warehouse. It was built to be exactly what it is.

The Little Chapel is one of those venues that offers an unbelievable variety of spaces, textures, and aesthetics. Equal parts whimsy and drama, the property offers a ton of statement backdrops for every part of a wedding day.

The stained glass light. When light comes through custom stained glass windows during a ceremony, it is definitely a show stopper. Depending on the time of day and the season, the colors shift and the quality of light inside the chapel changes entirely.

The Solarium ceiling. Twenty-eight feet of Victorian greenhouse glass overhead means natural light is always present and always beautiful in the reception space. As the day moves toward evening, the light inside the Solarium becomes golden and romantic in a way that makes every moment feel cinematic.

The scale. The Little Chapel specializes in intimate weddings with options for elopements up to full celebrations with up to 125 guests. Smaller guest counts mean more time for meaningful portraits, more time for yourselves and your guests, and a day that flows seamlessly. Those are the weddings that produce the images we are most proud of.

The 500-year-old brick. The texture and character of the chapel is unmatched and gives every exterior photo a little something special... and a truly timeless view.

The Chapel

The Chapel is the heart of the property; the European-inspired stone chapel features a stunning combo of English brick, oak ceiling trusses, custom stained glass windows, and two covered porches. It seats up to 64 guests indoors and is climate-controlled for year-round celebrations. As a ceremony space, it photographs unlike anything else in the Winston-Salem market and offers a truly unique backdrop for your wedding day.

The Solarium

The Victorian-inspired greenhouse, standing 28.5 feet tall and spanning 1,500 square feet, is climate-controlled and glass-walled, offering a stunning view overlooking the property through wraparound patios. For receptions, it is one of the most unique indoor spaces we have ever photographed. The play of natural light through the glass creates an atmosphere that changes by the hour and never looks the same twice.

The Courtyard

Situated between the chapel and the solarium, the courtyard acts as a natural gathering space that connects the ceremony and reception. It encourages an easy flow between the two spaces and gives guests a beautiful place to hang out during cocktail hour.

Packages are tiered and include various levels of coordination, use of the chapel and solarium, overnight stays at The Inn, and vendor recommendations.

The architecture alone is enough to make you stop in your tracks, but what really sets this place apart is the feeling it creates. Despite sitting on 56 acres, every wedding here feels intimate; like you and your people are the only ones in the world. That sense of seclusion, without ever feeling isolated, is something we rarely experience at other venues.

From a photography and videography standpoint, The Little Chapel is as close to perfect as a venue gets. There is not a bad angle on this property at any time of day. Drone footage over the lake at golden hour, portraits inside the chapel, and the Solarium... when sunlight catches the glass just right, the entire space transforms. Whether we are shooting at sunrise or chasing the last light of the evening, this property always delivers.
