Our beautiful bride, Katelyn, and her now-husband, Timothy, met the old-fashioned way on Tinder. Both were living in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at the time. Katelyn was studying at James Madison University, which Timothy was an alumnus of. They decided to meet in person for a drink at a local Mexican food favorite, Jalapenos. After that, things were spicy, and these two were inseparable. Fast-forward two years later in Massachusetts. It was here that Timothy, along with the help of both parents, planned a memorable surprise proposal.

Katelyn described the story of her perfect proposal, “June 14th was warm and sunny. Tim, myself, and our parents walked through the town, past the shops, towards the jetty that stretched out across the water. The two of us posed for seemingly normal couple pictures on the jetty while the parents got in position to capture the big moment. Tim got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. He said a few words confessing his love and asking if I’d marry him before signing "I can't live without you" in American Sign Language. I said yes! I was so overcome with joy and excitement I could not stop giggling!”

Two years after the proposal, Katelyn and Timothy celebrated their sizzling July wedding day at one of our favorite venues, Bella Collina, in Stokesdale. This wedding had it all: vibrant colors, a high-energy dance floor, an amazing purple cake, send-off sparklers, and trolleys for transporting guests! We highly recommend providing transport for guests – it ensures a long night of dancing!
