From “Hello, Fellow Nerd” to “I Do”: Jasmine and Andrew’s Love Story

Sometimes love finds you in the most unexpected ways... like a simple message on Facebook Dating. In 2022, Jasmine received a playful greeting that would change her life forever: “Hello, fellow nerd.” The message came from Andrew, and it made her smile - and that small spark quickly grew into something much bigger. After two memorable first dates, the couple’s connection deepened, and on the night of her birthday, they shared their first “I love you”.

Their journey together wasn’t without challenges, but through every high and low, Jasmine and Andrew grew stronger as a team. Jasmine says she can be her authentic, bubbly, nerdy, and emotional self around Andrew, and he feels the same way. Their relationship is filled with laughter, adventure, and shared passions, from countless game nights to long hikes through the mountains and nearby parks, to traveling the world together. They’ve faced difficult conversations, shared tears, celebrated personal victories, and through it all, they consistently chose each other.

The story of their love took a breathtaking turn on February 17, 2024, when Andrew proposed in front of the stunning mountainous backdrop of Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Surrounded by nature’s grandeur, Jasmine said yes, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their love story.

The couple was married on March 20, 2025 at Luna's Trail Event Venue and now a year later, here we are together, photographing a special anniversary session to celebrate one year of marriage.

Jasmine and Andrew’s journey is a reminder that love can start in a small, unexpected moment and flourish into a life full of joy, adventure, and authenticity.
