It's official: last month, Pantone announced its Color of the Year for 2020, and I couldn't be more excited. This year's top pick? PANTONE 19-4052, also known as Classic Blue! After selecting these honors for more vibrant and striking shades like Living Coral & Ultra Violet in previous years, this year's selection shows a step back into the familiar - and it's mostly because of its classic elegance.

“We are living in a time that requires trust and faith. It is this kind of constancy and confidence that is expressed by PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue, a solid and dependable blue hue we can always rely on,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.
