We love hearing the real stories behind how our couples met, dated, and got engaged. It is always so entertaining to hear the journey that each couple has been on together. When we were first got to know Cassie and Eric, they shared their own story.

Cassie wrote, “Eric and I met on Tinder two weeks after I graduated from Elon. It was only my third Tinder date, and I wasn't exactly looking for love. That being said, I knew I was in trouble after the first date. We have been together for almost six years now! I was ready for a ring after year two, but Eric took his time and found the perfect ring for the most incredible proposal on September 1, 2019." 

They planned to get married the following year...

Unfortunately, we all know what happened next. The year 2020 came in like a wrecking ball and shattered everyone’s wedding plans. So, by the time that July 17, 2021, came around, Cassie and Eric were beyond ready to get married.

And we were beyond excited to capture their Castle McCulloch wedding. We met bubbly and sweet Cassie in her suite at the beautiful Grandover hotel. Surrounded by her closest friends, Cassie was on cloud nine. It was finally her wedding day. Our groom, Eric, was equally as excited to get married to his beautiful bride. 

After a brief rainstorm, the two of them exchanged vows before hosting a beautiful reception under the trees. The party continued indoors all night in the Crystal Garden. The dancing was booming, and the guests were having a blast. It was such a wonderful celebration of a long-awaited wedding day.
